Memphis, US is preparing

FedEx’s hometown of Memphis will host a large-scale test of autonomous delivery vehicles designed by inventor Dean Kamen. Following in the line of the self-balancing Segway scooter and iBot, a stair-climbing wheelchair, Kamen’s SameDay Bots are custom-built for FedEx and have a top speed of 10 miles per hour. If successful, the company hopes to deploy the droids to retailers as part of its SameDay Service.
